MULTI INSTRUMENT TEACHER TRAINING INFORMATION

Every participant needs to be a member of the Suzuki Assocation of the Americas (SAA) and submit a videotape audition to the SAA receiving approval BEFORE the start of the course. Please click here to obtain application details. Plan ahead and allow enough time for your audition to be reviewed.
We recommend reading the SAA requirements for teacher workshop participants so you know what is expected.
PLEASE NOTE: infants, babies, and children of any age will not be allowed in teacher workshop classes. Please plan accordingly.
If you would like to make payment arrangements before April 1 (tuition divided into 3-4 payments), submit your registration without making payment and reach out to us with your phone number and email so we can contact you within a week. A spot is not guaranteed until arrangements are completed.

Tone of the Heart: Resonance Beyond the Strings with Koen Rens (IN-PERSON ONLY)
- Price: $485
- Prerequisites: “Basic” Teacher Training Audition, ECC! and Unit 1 training for any instrument.
- Class Requirements: 10 hours of class time and no observations.

- Description: The course covers lots of Suzuki tonalizations, ideas about connection, contact, and congruence. Active string playing and active listening. And hopefully a bit of hanging back on the chair and just enjoying being together. All instruments are welcome, but there will be a focus on strings.
